Heated Words Private View

Great turn out at the Heated Words launch at The House of Vans under Waterloo Station last night. An exhibition celebrating the mysterious New York BBoy font. I spent most of the night arranging curled up pre ironed flock letters of the infamous font in order to have a go at using the T-Shirt heat press myself.

The exhibition consists of archive photography & video as well as actual vintage T-Shirts, the show runs 26th March - 9 April 2015. Check it out!

Heated Words Exhibition Private View at House of Vans

Looking forward to the launch of the Heated Words Initial research exhibition at The House of Vans this Thursday. A look into the origins of streetwear & the infamous unknown BBoy font.

The hard to find Iron On letters that were rocked on the shirts of New York BBoy crews back in the day, revived more recently by legendary Swiss BBoy event Circle Kings & the Finnish style masters Flow Mo.

I've had a hand drawn version of it for a while, making appearances on various Christmas & B-Birthday cards over the years. I also used it within the design work for ILL Boogs "The Rhythm Den" on Breakin Bread Records. For further info check the Facebook event page here
